Summer 2010 has been a scorcher so far, giving us Brits the hottest summer since 1880! Summer is surely in full flow and we think it's getting hotter and hotter each day. However no matter how hot it is at the moment, we all know how temperamental the British weather can be and this causes a huge problem for what we wear. Being caught in the rain or surprised by a dull day turning into a scorcher is all part of the fun the British weather has to offer.
For us ladies' selecting what summer shoes to wear is sometimes the biggest selection on a morning. Do we slip on a pair of flip flops but risk slipping all over in the rain? Should we wear a pair of trendy Ballerina pumps or risk ruining our outfits with a good old trusty pair of comfortable trainers? High heels aren't practical for long summer walks and Gladiator sandals would be spoilt if we resolve to have a quick paddle in the sea, or more realistically get caught in the rain.
